Retail exports from India are expected to gain new ground thanks to the joint initiative taken by the Federation of Indian Exporters Organisations (FIEO) and World's leading eCommerce platforms ebay and Paypal by signing an agreement on April 12. At present retail exports from eCommerce platforms stand to US$ 1.4 billion and there is a huge scope to grow this segment in the days to come. It is evident from the facts that retail exports from India witnessed over 400 percent increase during last three years. FIEO is optimistic that in the near future they would be able to generate an additional US$ 1 billion thanks to the agreement signed between FIEO, ebay and Paypal in New Delhi .
